    Hi,
How do we find out more details about Paul’s WD as well as his status? Great video. Please provide more SSRI WD or adverse reaction stories.

I’ve dealt with the same thing with these drugs . Effexor was one I suffered withdrawals from. It was also one made me more depressed and suicidal. I continue to slowly slowly withdraw from it not realizing it was the actual medicine that was damaging me. I also feel very very angry that this was something that never needed to happen to me. I feel like my whole life and reality that I had worked so hard for was wiped out and left me so damaged.

I’m going through this now almost 4 months off Zoloft. I was on 50 mg for about 17 years, and befor this on different ssri’s like celexa. Prozac cymbulta xanax. Just terrible. These drugs effect your whole body when coming off . I still have shakiness muscle spasms and a number of issues. I can’t even get a good nights sleep. But I’m hanging in their, my Doctor is great he said it could take a long time to recover, to hang in their and don’t go back on the drugs , even though your body might be craving them! To everyone going through withdrawals 1 day at a time it’s a long long process, could take months or years, but it’s worth the wait to get off these nasty drugs.

My husband has been prescribed numerous antidepressants and is in a very bad place. He has tapered off mirztazapine which is the 7th drug he was prescribed. After 2 weeks of being off them he couldn’t cope. The doctor insisted it was him and put him on Zoloft, which he took for 2 days and felt worse. The mental health team won’t support him because he won’t take his medication.
We are desperate for support, this is an out rage. It would be amazing to get some help or even reassurance to give him the hope to keep on going. There is nowhere to go. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It is sad but we must accept and continue. They say what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. You’ve been through a lot Paul .

On the topic, I do feel there needs to be stronger requirements to get these prescriptions. I think they should warn us better. The Doctors do not emotionally understand. I knew they were judging when I explained my adverse reactions. It was up to me to say no more I’ve had enough.

Good luck at your new job . All the best 🙂 god bless
