This is so true, thank you Dr Breggin for your long-term commitment to highlighting the fallacy of these medications. I was put on ten different anti-psychotics and mood stabilisers in my twenties, and it absolutely ruined my life back then. After I had my daughter when I was thirty-one, I weaned off all of them, and over the last 15 years I have got my life back, and my mind and body. I have remained well without any medication, whilst I have seen all the people I was a co-patient with spiral downward into permanent hospitalisation, mental illness, relapse, drug addiction and ultimately, severe brain damage. I consider I was very, very lucky to escape. But it was because I heard about Dr Breggin whilst I studied my degree in Medicine. Both let me argue for self-determination, in spite of threats, hostility, and forced assault through unwanted medication by the medical profession. Many, many thanks to you, Dr. Breggin. I now live a very happy life with my husband and daughter, which has only been possible since being free of the ‘medication’.
Dear Dr Peter Breggin
I have been trying to tell people this very thing for years and I have personal experience with my son and can not get the Authorities to stop the medications they are giving him. The ones he is on now if Seroquel and Olanzapine. Recently he was put on Clozapine, Epilim, Seroquel, Olanzapine, Lyrica and others in the State Mental Hospital. I would like to discuss this further if you would email me. I need your advice. I am from Western Australia.
Many thanks for your information.
I would urge Dr. Peter Breggin to make a video about the dangers of psychiatric drugs for the understanding of children.
Dear Dr. Breggin,
Thank you for staying and fighting the good fight with us. You and your beautiful wife are still there for us. You are valued more than you can ever know. I met you once at the NARPA Conference in Louisville, I believe. You signed my book for me. I am still fighting for my dear son, Jeff Welton. We are Facebook friends. Please read my post at gofundme.com. We are trying to get him to be not forced drugged anymore. It’s going to take a miracle. But I believe in miracles and a great and merciful God.
Thank you and Ginger.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Welton
I have been wanting to come off Clozapine and Valproate
Doctor Breggin,
My daughter ( 49 years old ) had a psych break 4 years ago and she’s on psychdrugs and in a psychhospital here in Norway.
I try to make then not give her so much drugs but they keep adding and increasing dosages and sofar don’t much care what I say.
She was at a recovery Center for 11 months, to taper off the medication, but it went to fast, even if very slow , and she stopped cold turkey and got very stressesd out, and she also got suicidal later on when given Temsta ( a benzo )
Her suicidal tendencies worsened and she made several attempts, even when she was with me, so she is therefore now committed to enforce care in the biggest psych hospital in Norway, Gaustad. The doctors there seems to believe that she gets too little, or needs other meds, and I think she just need to come off them.
She’s now on a 405 mg Zyprexa injection every 2nd week, and 2 x 10 mg Sobril ( benzo ) and now they want to add Seroguel. My daughter was not willing to go onto this 3d drug. so the doctor informed me that they hae now applied for enforce medication and ” she doesn’t know what’s best for her “.
I feel this is getting out of hand for me to handle. I’m her only relative her in Norway and I’ve been trying to help her through this for 4 years, it’s really hard
Do you have any advice what I can do ?
I saw the above video just now and I’m in tears, it’s so true, my daughter is exposed to very dangerours drugs and I need to help her.
